Who we are. Mishmish (مشمش) is made by Mohamed Bassiuony, trading as Global Parts (جلوبال بارتس), Alexandria, Egypt. Mohamed Bassiuony is the data controller and personally responsible for applying the Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020). Contact: support@mishmishbook.app. Website: mishmishbook.app.
The short version. Your pets’ book lives on your phone. When you sign in, it is also kept on our server so it is the same on all your phones; photos never leave your phone. Other information leaves your phone only when you use a feature that needs it, and only what that feature needs. Anonymous usage counts are on by default and you can turn them off; detailed crash reports are sent only if you say yes. We do not sell data, show no ads, and use no advertising or cross-app tracking tools.
1. What stays on your phone, and what syncs
Without an account, your pets, health records, photos, notes, weights, your name and your settings are stored only on your phone, and we cannot see them. When you sign in, your pets and their records (never photos) are also stored on our server so they stay the same on every phone you sign in to, and so family share works. Only you, the family members you invite, and a vet you show a visit code to can reach them. Photos, your settings and the text of your reminders always stay on your phone; reminders are scheduled on your phone.

Location. Asked only when you tap to see what is near you. It is rounded on your phone and never stored, except the rounded area of street friends you choose to show.
3. Why we may use it (legal bases)
- To give you the service you asked for (your account, syncing your pets, family share, vet visits, Plus, Family and Clinic): the agreement between us.
- Our legitimate interest in fixing and improving the app for the anonymous usage counts and error notes. They are on by default because they carry nothing that names you; you can object and turn them off at any time in Settings, Help improve the app, and counting stops on that phone at once.
- Your consent for detailed crash reports (the screen picture and PostHog). Without a yes nothing is sent; you can take it back any time in Settings.
- Keeping the service safe and working: crash reports, rate limits, refusing throwaway emails, the device check.
- The law: store and tax records of purchases.
4. Who processes data for us, and where
The full list, with what each one does and where, is on the sub-processors page. Our database is in Frankfurt (EU). Some services (Anthropic, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, Expo, Cloudflare, Resend, GitHub) process data in the United States or other countries. These transfers are made only for the features above, with providers bound to protect the data at a level not lower than Egyptian law, and with the licence or permit of Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center where the law requires one.
5. Your rights
- Know what we hold about you and get a copy: export everything from Settings, Your data, or email us.
- Correct it: edit in the app, or email us.
- Delete it: Settings, Delete my account, or the steps below.
- Object to a use, or take back a consent, at any time (taking it back does not undo what was lawful before).
- Sign out of every other phone at once, and remove phones you don’t know: Settings, Sign-in and security.
- Complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center if you think we got it wrong. Please tell us first so we can fix it.
We answer requests within the time the law sets. We may ask you to confirm it is your account first.
6. Deleting your account and data
In the app: Settings, Delete my account. This deletes your account and everything on our server tied to it: your profile, family shares, street friends you showed, reviews, phones, consent records and vet requests. What is stored only on your phone is removed when you delete the app. If you are a vet, confirmations you signed on pets’ records stay, without your account, so those records stay true for their owners.
Without the app: email support@mishmishbook.app from the email you signed in with, subject "Delete my account". We delete the account and reply to confirm.
7. Children
Mishmish has no age limit, because it has nothing unsuitable for children. Under Egyptian law, a child’s personal data needs the consent of a parent or legal guardian. So if you are under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms and this policy for you and help you use the app. Purchases go through Apple or Google, where a parent can require approval (Ask to Buy, Google Family). If a parent or guardian tells us at support@mishmishbook.app that a child used the app without their consent, we delete that child’s data.
8. Security, and if something goes wrong
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Every table on our server has row level security, so people can reach only their own data; secret keys live only on the server, never in the app or this website. If a breach affects personal data, we tell Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center within 72 hours of learning of it, and the people affected as the law requires.
9. Changes
When the app changes what it does with data, we update this page, its date and version, and ask you to agree again in the app.

باختصار. دفتر حيوانك محفوظ على هاتفك. وعندما تسجّل الدخول، يُحفظ أيضًا على خادمنا ليكون واحدًا على كل هواتفك؛ والصور لا تخرج من هاتفك أبدًا. ولا تخرج أي بيانات أخرى من هاتفك إلا عندما تستخدم ميزة تحتاجها، وبالقدر الذي تحتاجه فقط. عدّ الاستخدام المجهول مفعّل تلقائيًا ويمكنك إيقافه، وتقارير الأعطال المفصّلة لا تُرسل إلا بموافقتك. لا نبيع البيانات، ولا نعرض إعلانات، ولا نستخدم أدوات إعلانية أو تتبعًا بين التطبيقات.
١. ما يبقى على هاتفك، وما تتم مزامنته
بدون حساب، تُحفظ حيواناتك وسجلاتها الصحية وصورها وملاحظاتها وأوزانها واسمك وإعداداتك على هاتفك فقط، ولا نستطيع رؤيتها. وعندما تسجّل الدخول، تُحفظ حيواناتك وسجلاتها (بدون الصور أبدًا) على خادمنا أيضًا لتبقى واحدة على كل هاتف تسجّل الدخول عليه، ولتعمل مشاركة العائلة. ولا يصل إليها إلا أنت وأفراد العائلة الذين تدعوهم والطبيب الذي تعطيه كود الزيارة. أما الصور وإعداداتك ونص التذكيرات فتبقى دائمًا على هاتفك، والتذكيرات تُجدوَل على هاتفك.

الموقع. يُطلب فقط عندما تضغط لترى ما حولك، ويُقرَّب على هاتفك ولا يُحفظ أبدًا، إلا المنطقة المقرّبة لحيوانات الشارع التي تختار إظهارها.
٣. لماذا يجوز لنا استخدامها (الأسس القانونية)
- لتقديم الخدمة التي طلبتها (حسابك، ومزامنة حيواناتك، ومشاركة العائلة، وزيارات الطبيب، وPlus والعائلة والعيادة): الاتفاق بيننا.
- مصلحتنا المشروعة في إصلاح التطبيق وتحسينه بالنسبة لعدّ الاستخدام المجهول وتسجيل الأخطاء. وهو مفعّل تلقائيًا لأنه لا يحمل ما يدل عليك، ويمكنك الاعتراض وإيقافه في أي وقت من الإعدادات، «ساعدنا نحسّن التطبيق»، فيتوقف العدّ على ذلك الهاتف فورًا.
- موافقتك على تقارير الأعطال المفصّلة (صورة الشاشة وPostHog). بدون موافقة لا يُرسل شيء، ويمكنك سحبها في أي وقت من الإعدادات.
- حماية الخدمة واستمرار عملها: تقارير الأعطال، وحدود الاستخدام، ورفض البريد المؤقت، وفحص الجهاز.
- القانون: سجلات المتاجر والضرائب الخاصة بالمشتريات.
٤. من يعالج البيانات لصالحنا، وأين
القائمة الكاملة، بما يفعله كل طرف ومكانه، في صفحة المعالجين الفرعيين. قاعدة بياناتنا في فرانكفورت (الاتحاد الأوروبي). وبعض الخدمات (Anthropic وGoogle وApple وRevenueCat وPostHog وExpo وCloudflare وResend وGitHub) تعالج البيانات في الولايات المتحدة أو دول أخرى. يتم هذا النقل فقط من أجل الميزات المذكورة أعلاه، مع مقدّمي خدمة ملتزمين بحماية البيانات بمستوى لا يقل عن القانون المصري، وبترخيص أو تصريح من مركز حماية البيانات الشخصية متى اشترط القانون ذلك.
٥. حقوقك
- أن تعرف ما نحتفظ به عنك وتحصل على نسخة منه: صدّر كل شيء من الإعدادات، بياناتك، أو راسلنا.
- أن تصححه: عدّله في التطبيق أو راسلنا.
- أن تحذفه: الإعدادات، حذف حسابي، أو الخطوات أدناه.
- أن تعترض على أي استخدام أو تسحب موافقتك في أي وقت (السحب لا يلغي ما تم بشكل مشروع قبله).
- أن تسجّل الخروج من كل الهواتف الأخرى مرة واحدة، وتحذف الهواتف التي لا تعرفها: الإعدادات، الدخول والأمان.
- أن تشتكي إلى مركز حماية البيانات الشخصية في مصر إذا رأيت أننا أخطأنا. نرجو أن تخبرنا أولًا لنصلح الأمر.
نرد على الطلبات خلال المدة التي يحددها القانون، وقد نطلب منك التأكد أولًا أن الحساب حسابك.
٦. حذف حسابك وبياناتك
من التطبيق: الإعدادات، حذف حسابي. يحذف ذلك حسابك وكل ما على خادمنا مرتبطًا به: ملفك، ومشاركات العائلة، وحيوانات الشارع التي أظهرتها، والتقييمات، والهواتف، وسجلات الموافقة، وطلبات الانضمام كطبيب. وما هو محفوظ على هاتفك فقط يُحذف عند حذف التطبيق. وإذا كنت طبيبًا، تبقى التأكيدات التي وقّعتها على سجلات الحيوانات، بدون حسابك، لتظل صحيحة لأصحابها.
بدون التطبيق: راسل support@mishmishbook.app من البريد الذي سجّلت به، بعنوان «Delete my account». نحذف الحساب ونرد بالتأكيد.
٧. الأطفال
لا يوجد حد للسن في مشمش، لأنه لا يحتوي على أي شيء غير مناسب للأطفال. وبحسب القانون المصري، تحتاج البيانات الشخصية للطفل إلى موافقة الوالد أو الولي القانوني. لذلك إذا كان عمرك أقل من 18 سنة، يجب أن يوافق الوالد أو الولي على هذه الشروط وهذه السياسة نيابةً عنك وأن يساعدك في استخدام التطبيق. والمشتريات تتم عبر Apple أو Google، ويمكن للوالد أن يشترط موافقته عليها (Ask to Buy أو Google Family). وإذا أخبرنا والد أو ولي على support@mishmishbook.app أن طفلًا استخدم التطبيق بدون موافقته، نحذف بيانات هذا الطفل.
٨. الأمان، وإذا حدث خطأ
البيانات تنتقل مشفّرة (HTTPS/TLS). وكل جدول على خادمنا محمي بأمان على مستوى الصفوف، فلا يصل أحد إلا إلى بياناته؛ والمفاتيح السرية موجودة على الخادم فقط، أبدًا في التطبيق أو هذا الموقع. وإذا وقع اختراق يمس بيانات شخصية، نُخطر مركز حماية البيانات الشخصية خلال 72 ساعة من علمنا به، ونُخطر المتأثرين وفق ما يشترطه القانون.
٩. التغييرات
عندما يتغير ما يفعله التطبيق بالبيانات، نحدّث هذه الصفحة وتاريخها وإصدارها، ونطلب موافقتك مرة أخرى داخل التطبيق.
